The embedded end of the rod may be secured in the concrete by means of a head, threading with a nut on the end, a hook or other deformation, by welding to reinforcing steel or other means. With regard to metal and galvanic response, when two metals are connected in an electrolyte, they will form a galvanic cell, with the higher metal in the galvanic series being the anode. Hot rolled portal frames have a haunch at the knee joint and apex which are cut from the steel sections similar to the columns and rafter. The sub-frames or secondary members i. Among, the two available options i. It demands a specialized approach for the design, detailing, production and installation which is very professionally handled and executed by us. Space Frames : A space-frame is a truss-like, light-weight, rigid structure which is constructed by interlocking struts in a peculiar geometric pattern. Space-frames usually utilize a multidirectional span, and are often used to accomplish long spans with few supports. They derive their strength from the inherent rigidity of the triangular frame. We have a dedicated division which has been setup to cater the ever-growing demand for space-frames within the Middle-east sectors. Having the specialized knowledge and expertise in the field along-with strong technological tie-ups we have placed ourselves on the top slot.

Minimum thickness is 16 gauge. Coating is red oxide. Zees may be simple span or lapped for continuous design. Flange braces are bolted to a prewelded clip and to a hole in the web of the purlin or girt.
Braced frames with nominally pinned connections and vertical bracing offer a very cost competitive structural solution, and are the most commonly used structural system in buildings. Rigidly framed structures are preferred if there is no opportunity for the use of vertical bracing , such as in fully glazed facades or in large-span structures. In braced frames , columns are designed to resist mainly compression forces.

Cold-Formed Steel Shakes Up Building Construction
Strip Steel or cold rolled strip is a steel product that is produced from a hot rolled strip that has been pickled. The coil is then reduced by a single stand cold roll steel mill straight away or reversing mill or in a tandem mill consisting of several single stands in a series. The strip is reduced to approximately final thickness by cold-rolling directly, or with the inclusion of an annealing operation at some intermediate thickness to facilitate further cold reduction or to obtain mechanical properties desired in the finished product. High carbon strip steel requires additional annealing and cold reduction operations. The final product typically consists of cold rolled steel that has been cut into strips of a specific widths and coiled or oscillate coiled for delivery, frequently interleaved with paper or another material which protects the surface finish of the material and assists in retaining oil or some other rust prevention solution. This product is often later stamped to form a part from the strip steel. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The concealed touch latches open the access panel when pressure is applied to the flap on the spring loaded latch side. Pyropanel wall, ceiling and floor access panels are designed to meet the requriements of most applications within modern building design. Be sure to look at ultimate load when selecting an access floor panel for your application. Standard color is light tan outside and off-white on the inside. Fire Rated Access Doors-These fire rated access panels are suitable for penetrating fire rated walls and ceilings.
Steel is one of the most widely used and recycled materials. There are thousands of grades of steel with equally as many applications. There are also different technologies for manufacturing steel, one of which offers a major advantage in the construction industry: cold-formed steel CFS. Hot-rolled steel and cold-formed steel are both structural steels used in building construction.
